Our Team
The PIE Ethiopian Charity Organization team is composed of ten committee members, four of whom serve on the Board of Directors. The Chairperson of the Board is Mr. Habib Yassin.
Tamrat Kassa serves as the ICT Coordinator, Fantahun Kassa is the Education Program Director, and Hadia is in charge of the Girls’ Program and Gender Clubs.
Habib Yassin
PIE Focal
Habib Yassin is passionate about fostering a love for learning in his students. He is dedicated to creating a supportive and engaging learning environment where every student can thrive.
Tamrat Kassa
ICT Leader
Mr. Tamrat Kassa is the Head of the ICT Department and Project Coordinator. He is an IT professional responsible for planning, designing, and supervising ICT training for teachers and students across all schools. He also leads the PIE Tech Center, which is responsible for system maintenance and project execution.
Fantahun Kassa
Educational program Director
Fantahun Kassa is the Head of the Education Department for PIE across all four schools. He is responsible for planning and integrating the digital education strategy and tutorial programs for students, as well as planning and monitoring teacher training to ensure digital teaching methods become the mainstream approach to instruction.
Hadia
Gender program Manager
Hadia is the Girls’ Program Director for all PIE-supported schools in Asaita. She supervises gender programs across all schools by training the teachers in charge of Gender Clubs. She also organizes girls’ workshops and health seminars in collaboration with other NGOs. In addition, she trains girls in various sewing projects, including the production of reusable sanitary products.
